cookies of love

Did this project to try and get an interview for Leeds art college. Basically made a load of cookies and some signage to set up a little free cookie stall in a pub in York. But when we got there the place was deserted and i only managed to give away five cookies in three hours. My idea totally bombed.

So after feeling pretty damn disillusioned i tried again on the main shopping street in Harrogate the next day. It was a smash success! We gave away all the cookies in twenty minutes and i now had some perfect photos to send off! I think in retrospect it made a lot more sense on the high street because these days public places are for spending money and not just getting together to have a nice time so it felt good to give stuff away and see that people were really enjoying it. Need to be more confident about this stuff in the future.

I liked this because i was doing so much freakin work the day i sent it off i actually felt like ohhh i need a break. Makes me miss being a student and getting really stuck into a project so its all you think about. That's good passion. Hopefully i will be again soon, thanks to this.
