Clover

After living out of a suitcase for too many months I'm now very happy to say I have just moved into a lovely home in Manchester and so I will be drawing again! Yes! This is my first drawing I've made his name is Clover, I've been working on this character for a while and he's a pretty happy chappy.

Bought this really lovely book a few days ago from Toppings of illustrated envelopes sent to the children's book publisher Klaus Flugge over the years.

There's loads of really sweet and funny ideas from some of my favourite illustrators as a kid, definitely going to try and do this on my envelopes from now on! Seriously recommend this book for anyone who enjoys children's illustration it's so good, here are just a few of my personal favourites, sorry about my terrible scanner..

- David Mckee

- Emma Chichester Clark

- Max Velthuis

- Posy Simmonds

- Satoshi Kitamura

- Susan Varley

- Tony Ross
