new book! yeyy!!

Stumbled across this book last week at the salts mill and freakin fell in love with it! so bad!! It's the works of San Fracisco based artist Barry McGee and let me tell you, it is a REAL treat for the eyes. It's got a mix of graffiti style illustration, bold geometric patterns, some typo and lots of grainy photos of scummy people doing scumbag activities. This appeals to me enormously. I love that Barry McGee does so may different things, but he does them all with exceptional badass style.

The best stuff is photos from his exhibition where everything comes together. There's a fucking pile up of wrecked cars! So cool. Very inspiring guy.
