made a zine
Hello! Here's a snapshot of a few pages from the zine i made with buddy Lauren Squires. Will be available for you to get your hands on at the DIY HI-FI pop up shop! Wooooh you lucky ducks!
DIY HI-FI
Okay so DIY HI-FI is the night i'm helping to put on as part of my internship with Dirt Cheap, and it's gonna be preeeeeeetty cool.. hopefully. I made illustration for the poster, haven't done papercrafting in a few months and it took loooong time! A day and a bit to be axact.
These are the posters made which I didn't really have anything to do with. I think they're trying to change the usual badass Fresh Kids image for something a bit more fun and friendly which I get. Personally I wouldn't have gone for that type though, or the McDonald's colour scheme.
The guys want us to decorate the venue with big cardboard stuff like boom boxes, cassette tapes and i don't know other stuff like that to bring the concept to life. We had a session last week but I didn't get much done as no-one else really showed up. This is what me and buddy Al Walker did.
I've started making a big man to put out front, this is just his head. Want to make some 3D type too.
Ollie he did this. Made it really quickly and it's way better than the stuff me and Al spent ages on. Hahah, that's why we're working for him and not the other way around.
I've been ill this week so I don't know how it's progressed, hopefully there's way more stuff! I have so much cardboard in my room now which I've been foraging from skips, need to get to the studio as soon as I can!
Anyway come to DIY H-FI if you're around, good times guaranteed!

BRING ME MY MACHINE GUN
Watch this!! Really great short film starring Ninja and Yo Landi made by the ever brilliant and beautiful Harmony Korine, siiiiigh.
Rainy Days
Was meant to be heading off to Beacons Festival today for a weekend of BIG FUN!
But the crazy English weather is against us and it's rained so much they straight off cancelled the whole festival, looks like a ruddy lake out there! Idiots.
Anyway im pretty ill so three days camping probably wouldn't do me any good right now. There's talk of packing up and heading to the seaside for the weekend, right now all i wanna do is stay in bed and watch disney movies.

Freakin sick freestyle from Ninja out of Die Antwoord, mental and gimmicky musicians from South Africa. He also has sweet homemade tatoos! I think i might have actually found my perfect man.
Base Studio
A couple of weeks ago the Dirt Cheap guys kindly let me and buddy Lauren Squires in to their studio for a few days to make a zine. Was very fun and cool getting to hang out in the studio properly. Hopefully will be doing some more work in there for the Fresh Kids nights. These are the zines we made, called it 'The First Hurrah' preeeetty cool huh!
Will post up some pictures of what's actually in the zine very soon! One of the other interns (and awesome graphic designer!) Lucas moved in to the studio last week, he took these panoramic photos, will give you a better idea of what it's actually like in there!
Studio is on the very top floor of an old mill, lots of stairs to get up there! But it's cool because you can see over everything. I haven't been blogging much on here because I am now blogging for Dirt Cheap Magazine, check it out! But I will try and keep on top of this blog for all my personal work and anything cool I've been doing!
